A Step-By-Step Guide To Installing And Using Coupon X (WordPress Websites)

Running an online store or website can be challenging. You've poured your heart and soul into crafting beautiful products, creating engaging content, and building a strong brand. But despite your best efforts, you might be facing a common dilemma: turning website visitors into paying customers.

The reality is, that many visitors abandon their carts, leave your site without browsing further, or never come back at all. This can be disheartening, especially when you know you have amazing products or services to offer.

There are several reasons why this might happen:

This is where coupon popup apps come to the rescue. Coupon popup apps offer a powerful solution, addressing these pain points and helping businesses thrive.

Coupon X offers a variety of customization options to help you personalize your popup’s appearance. You can customize any of the following:

Coupon X Tip: Instead of just stating the discount percentage, emphasize the benefits the user gets, like "Save 25% on all puppy collars!" or "Get free shipping on all orders over $50!

Step #3: Choose Your Coupon

After personalizing your coupon popup, the next step is to select a coupon type. We offer four coupon options that can be used in different ways:

1 - Create a new discount from Coupon X

This allows you to create a new discount that Coupon X will display to everyone based on your preferences. You can set a percentage or a fixed amount for this type of coupon, include a discount value, and allow free shipping.

This coupon can be applied to ‘All Products’, ‘Specific collections’, or ‘Specific products’ on your website. After that, you can set the minimum amount that a customer must have before they see this coupon.

You can also limit the usage of this coupon to ‘one per customer’ or a certain number of times per customer’.

Lastly, you can toggle the “Active dates” button to either leave the coupon active for an indefinite amount of time or set an expiration date for when the coupon will expire on your website.

2 - Generate unique coupons for each new user

This coupon type is similar to the aforementioned one. The major difference is that with this option, a coupon code is generated for each new user, as opposed to a single code being used by all users.

Editor’s Note: You don’t need to create thousands of coupon codes for this, Coupon X generates this by itself.

3 - Use an existing Discount from WooCommerce Discount

With this coupon option, you simply select an existing discount option to be displayed in your coupon popup. You don't need to create new coupon codes within the online coupon builder itself. This saves time and ensures consistency across your marketing efforts.

4 - Don't show a coupon code

This option may seem counterproductive, but it is great for showing announcements, and promotional offers or simply collecting emails and growing your email list. This option can also feel less intrusive to visitors who might not be interested in a specific discount at the moment. They can still see the announcement or offer without feeling pressured to claim a coupon.

This feature expands the functionality of your popup beyond just offering coupons. You can use it for various purposes:

After You Publish Your Coupon Popup

1 - Monitor and Analyze: Don't just set it and forget it! Track your coupon's performance. See how many people see the popup, how many claim the code, and ultimately, how many convert into sales. This data helps you understand what's working and what might need tweaking.

2 - Refine and Optimize: Based on your data, make adjustments to your popup. Did the headline grab attention? Was the CTA clear? Consider A/B testing different versions with slight variations in copy, color, or image to see which one performs best.

3 - Promote and Expand: Once you've optimized your popup, consider promoting it further. Talk about your offer on social media, mention it in your email newsletter, or even use website retargeting campaigns to reach visitors who haven't seen it yet.
